Tropicana Corp Bhd unveiled its first industrial park during a ground- breaking ceremony in Iskandar Malaysia, officiated by Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Hasni Mohammad recently. The 1,188-acre industrial park is the only centralised industrial park in the district.

According to a statement on Monday (Dec 20), Tropicana Corp group chief executive officer Lee Han Ming said it was an honour to have the Johor menteri besar officiating the event.
“Tropicana Industrial Park is situated in a prime location and enjoys unparalleled connectivity. Investors will be pleased to know that we provide a whole host of infrastructure, conveniences, and facilities. We are confident the plots will see swift take-up,” Lee added.

Hasni said the 2,217 sq km of Iskandar Malaysia has been an important economic corridor for the country since its inception in 2006.

“It focuses on holistic and comprehensive growth, balancing economic prosperity, quality living, and sustainability. Its development is guided by the Comprehensive Development Plan and the Circle of Sustainability and planned, promoted and facilitated by the Iskandar Regional Development Authority (IRDA).
